EMAT (Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer) thickness gauges are suitable for a wide range of NDT applications, such as thickness measurements on boiler tubes and heat exchangers. It can also be applied for thickness measurement testing on pipelines and storage tanks. EMAT requires no contact fluid for sound transmission, making it well suited for inspecting very hot and very cold parts. EMAT can also measure through coatings and is not affected by oxidation or roughness. Dragon Electronics offers the DE-1000, DE-2000, DE-3000 and DE-4000 EMAT thickness gauges for all kinds of applications to meet all your needs.

The DE-4000 has two different operating capacities and can be used for both EMAT and ultrasonic thickness measurement.
